6. Contract description

The project shall contribute to the improvement of health service quality in the health care system by introducing and developing palliative care. It shall help upgrade the quality of health institutions and increase access to the health care system for vulnerable groups, by educating health professionals in the field of palliative care, establishing a network of institutions for palliative care treatment at all levels of care and the development of outreach programmes serving the community.

7. Indicative number and titles of Lots

Lot 1: Patient transport vehicles to be used at primary health care level for the transport of terminally ill patients.
