Thanks to the cooperation of the EU Delegation, EUIC, EU Member States and Dom Omladine Beograda, 20 films and a selection of Eurochannel short films will be presented during the six days of the festival, to be held in Dom omladine from 19-24 May 2015.

I warmly welcome this initiative by the ISAC Fund to organise a conference dedicated to CFSP and Serbia’s accession to the EU, and to share experiences of EU MS and Western Balkan countries.

The exhibition Portraits and Memories – The Jewish Community in Serbia before the Holocaust opened on Sunday 10th May at the former-German pavilion at Staro sajmište, marking Holocaust Remembrance Day in Belgrade.

On 12 May 2015, the EU ECOFIN Council and Finance Minister Vujović jointly adopted recommendations to increase competitiveness and long-term growth in Serbia. This includes strengthening the business environment, stimulating investment, improving public administration and advancing the restructuring and privatisation of state owned enterprises. The adoption of the recommendations was done on the basis of Serbia’s Economic Reform Program which outlines the Government’s economic priorities for the next 3 years.

We are all concerned about what has happened during the week-end and condemn any form of violence. We would like to offer our deep condolences to the families of the people who lost their lives.

Delegation of the European Union to Serbia and EU Info Centre have marked this year’s Europe Day with a series of events in Obrenovac, Belgrade, Novi Sad and Nis.

In Nis, Europe Day was marked by organising Balkanska Street of European Values event. The event was organised by the City of Nis, EU Info Point Nis, Coalition of Youth Initiatives Nis, Media Centre, Kupina film and civil society organisations.
