In a set of annual reports adopted today, the European Commission and the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy assessed the implementation of the European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP) with the 16 partner countries in the East and the South and made recommendations for the year ahead.

It is with deep sorrow that I have learned about the plane crash in France that cost the lives of 150 people.
My heart goes out to the families and friends of the victims. This is a tragedy that hits home all too starkly.

Kosovo will host the ministerial conference of the six Western Balkan countries, “Western Balkans’ 6”, dedicated to concrete regional projects, with special emphasis on infrastructure investment. This event comes after the Conference of Western Balkan States, held in Berlin, organized by the German Chancellor, Mrs. Angela Merkel, with the aim of promoting economic cooperation between the countries of the region.
Distribution of maize seeds to the flood affected agriculture producers started this week. Each producer who applied for maize receives two sowing units to complete spring sowing. This package also includes 400 kilograms of mineral fertilizer which is also delivered this week. Maize sowing season starts by the end of March, so the assisted farmers are fully provided for sowing.
The job vacancy rate in the euro area (EA18) was 1.8% in the fourth quarter of 2014, up from 1.6% recorded both in the previous quarter and in the fourth quarter of 2013, according to figures published by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union.
