The EU welcomes the institute of independent Enforcement Agents and supports its further strengthening, with the aim of reducing the backlog of cases and rendering the Serbian Judiciary more efficient, Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia Michael Davenport said at the European Legal Policy Forum.

In a joint Twitter chat with citizens, organised on the occasion of Italian presidency of the European Union, Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia Michael Davenport and Italian Ambassador Giuseppe Manzo said the EU acknowledged Serbia’s commitment to pursue reforms.
On 1 January 2014, the population of the EU28 was estimated at 507.4 million, compared with 505.7 million on 1 January 2013, according to Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union. As a long-term trend, the population of the countries making up the EU28 has increased by around 100 million since 1960 (from 407 million to 507 million).
The Serbian Innovation Fund has, on the occasion of the National Science Day in Serbia, organized an event: “Where Science and Innovative Entrepreneurship Meet”.
