Under the slogan “Books Connecting Europe,” European Union Delegation to Serbia and EU Info Centre take part in Belgrade International Book Fair 25 October-1 November. It is the fourth consecutive year the EU Delegation to Serbia took part in Book Fair, presenting selected EU publications, its history, the way it works and EU-Serbia relations.

Serbia is safer than it had been during May 2014 floods, but it is still neither safe enough, nor fully prepared, said Head of Government Office for Reconstruction and Flood Relief Marko Blagojevic and announced that by the end of 2015 a new law would be adopted regarding natural disaster risk management.
Deputy Head of EU Delegation to Serbia Oskar Benedikt said the EU was very supportive of efforts made by Serbian Government to restructure railroads in Serbia. Benedikt said that the EU and World Bank provided technical assistance in drafting of restructuring plan, whereas the Union also provided EUR2 million for the implementation of reforms within IPA 2014 budget.
