Twenty-three new houses in Obrenovac, Krupanj, Paraćin, Gornji Milanovac, Bajina Bašta, Šid and Mionica have been constructed so far, while 612 flood affected homes have been renovated in Obrenovac, Krupanj, Kraljevo, Lazarevac, Svilajnac, Trstenik, Varvarin, Valjevo, Mali Zvornik, Ljubovija, Šabac, Bajina Bašta, Šid, Loznica, Smederevska Palanka, Velika Plana, Čačak, Ub, Koceljeva, Jagodina and Paraćin.

Twelve new houses in Obrenovac, Krupanj, Paraćin and Mionica have been constructed so far, while 429 flood affected homes have been renovated in Obrenovac, Krupanj, Smederevska Palanka,Velika Plana, Čačak, Ub, Jagodina, Paraćin, Osečina, Šabac, Bajina Bašta, Šid, Loznica and Mionica.
As of spring 2015, patients of Krusevac hospital will be able to access health care services in a faster and easier manner thanks to single information system worth 200.000 euros within an EU-funded programme. Practically, this means that patients will not be required to have a referral written on paper, but will receive it electronically.
Seven families from Obrenovac who lost their homes to May floods, were given keys to their new houses, built and furnished thanks to EU funds. Apart from the reconstruction of primary and secondary schools, renovation of over 100 houses and other assistance, the EU also finance the construction of another two houses in Obrenovac, due for completion by the end of 2014.
EU Ambassador to Serbia Michael Davenport and Serbian government Office for Reconstruction and Flood Relief Director Marko Blagojevic visited three EU-funded households, reconstructed after being damaged in the May 2014 floods. They also delivered furniture and appliances to these families. Through its EU Assistance for Flood Relief programme, European Union have allocated some 350.000 euros to finance the reconstruction and construction of 23 houses, and provide support to three enterprises and some 700 agricultural producers in Smederevska Palanka.
Final construction works of the new building of the Belgrade Faculty of Forestry, which is located on the mountain Goc, 30km west of Kraljevo and about 200km from Belgrade, is underway. On an area of 1,200 square meters on four floors – a brand new building intended for forestry students, high school students, researchers, as well as nature lovers was built. From the donation of European Union in the amount of one million EUR – about 800 thousand EUR have been invested in construction of new facilities, and approximately 200 thousand EUR for the purchase of furniture and modern scientific research equipment.
Promotion of 2015 European PROGRES calendar and art contest award ceremony will take place on Tuesday, 23 December 2014, in Cultural Centre in Blace, at 12:30. Painter Ena Popovic and Manager of European PROGRES Graeme Tyndall will present awards to high school students whose works were ranked highest.

Next year, exhibition “Portraits and Memories of the Jewish Community in Serbia before the Holocaust” within the project funded by EU Delegation to Serbia, will be on display in various cities, as a part of culture of remembrance, with a primary aim to introduce these events to young people, elementary school final year pupils and high school students, and engage them in a discussion within workshops organised specifically for that occasion.
In Pancevo, the foundation stone has been laid for a 20-apartment building, funded by EU Delegation to Serbia and aimed at refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs). A ceremony marking the beginning of construction works was participated in by Head of the EU Delegation Michael Davenport, representative of Danish Refugee Council Marina Cremonese and Mayor of Pancevo Pavle Radanov.
