Transparency in Parliament’s work and the communication with citizens are key for bringing the quality laws to adoption and implementing them, the “Broadcasting Parliament” conference was told. The conference was organised in cooperation with the Greek Parliament within the EU Twinning project “Strengthening capacities of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in the EU integration process”.

Austrian Embassy in Belgrade opened its doors to citizens who were served with coffee and pastries while they had an opportunity to talk to Ambassador Johannes Eigner and other diplomats.
Organised crime is a worldwide problem; to tackle it, strong international cooperation is required. In the Western Balkans, countries need to build the appropriate structures and experience to investigate and prosecute complex criminal groups in an international context.

The European Commission, on behalf of the European Union, on June 10 raised €500 million on the capital markets to fund the first loan tranche for Ukraine under the new Macro-Financial Assistance (MFA II) programme.
As in the EU, success of the reforms in Serbia hinges to a large extent on creating new jobs and a more dynamic labor market, said Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia Michael Davenport addressing the closing conference of the EUR2 million EU-funded twinning project, aimed at improving employment policy in Serbia.
